The Craddock Center proudly presents two outstanding performances for this year’s Songs & Stories: Gopher Broke and Carol Cain as Rosie the Riveter.

Gopher Broke Band is rooted in Southern Appalachian folk, blues, and rock music. Group members have performed for twenty years and have performed with touring bands and are favorites in local festivals and venues. Fans are quoted as saying, “Wonderful music [from] a great band. It makes you wanna tap your feet and clap your hands. The best local band around!” This will be music to be treasured and enjoyed.

Carol Cain portraying Rosie the Riveter is a performance you don’t want to miss. For the past twenty-four years, Carol has performed as Rosie the Riveter at the Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia and other locations throughout the U.S. As Rosie, Carol dons coveralls, work boots, and the iconic head scarf to tell the story of women workers on the home front during World War II.

It’s an event you don’t want to miss!
